Description:
The course will introduce the participant to the Health & Safety Codes, State Housing Laws and an in-depth review of these codes as they correspond with the soon to be adopted 2007 California Building Codes. The course will also cover a review of the ICBO Uniform Housing Code, 1997 Edition and the more current ICC 2006 Property Maintenance Code.
The intent of this training is to familiarize the code enforcement professional responsible for housing enforcement with state statute and adopted or proposed publications. The Health & Safety Codes, State Housing Laws are statutes and therefore mandated for enforcement.
